Professor Song Malin from the School of Statistics and Applied Mathematics of our University published an academic paper entitled Local Protection, Resource Mismatch and Environmental Welfare Performance in the 12th issue of Economic Research in 2016.

This paper breaks through the limitation of traditional analysis that only considers macro input-output factors, and incorporates the health factors of social residents into the micro-analysis framework. Based on relational network data envelopment analysis, the overall performance of various regions in China is decomposed into macro-economic development performance and micro-environmental welfare performance. On this basis, the effects of local protection and resource mismatching on regional environmental welfare performance were analyzed by using inter-provincial panel data from 2002 to 2014 combined with spatial measurement methods.

This is another high-level and landmark research result published by Professor Song Malin in Economic Research.
